As a registered not for profit charity, the Reel Fun Film Festival relies on donations to help pay for many different operational aspects of the festival and programming costs. These donations cover things like the screening costs for films, the cost of international shipping of films and/or to provide some schools (who require it) with free busing to the festival.

This year we are excited to announce we've partnered with CanadaHelps.org to provide anyone interested a quick and secure way to donate to the festival. CanadaHelps is a trusted third party that has been making it easy for people to donate to any non-profit in Canada since 2000. Since then, they have facilitated over $100 million dollars in charitable donations. Best of all, your donations are completely tax deductible and you will receive an official CRA receipt from CandaHelps.
In order to direct your donation, we've set up 2 separate funds to choose from:
The Reel Fun Film Festival Fund
This fund is used to help pay for the operational aspects and programming costs for the festival. For example, it is used to purchase films, to cover the cost of shipping and to bring filmmakers and actors to the festival.
The Road to Reel Fun Fund
This fund is dedicated to provide entry and transportation to classes who may not otherwise be able to afford to come to the Festival during our Education Week.
